  • Perfect for all foodservice segments, kidney beans are an attractive addition to chili, soups, casseroles and salads. They hold their shape well during cooking and readily absorb surrounding flavors, so they are great in simmered dishes. They work well in salad bars.
  • Kidney beans are a meaty addition to a vegetarian chili. Cook onion and bell pepper until tender. Add chili powder and cumin and cook for a minute. Add marinara sauce, water, drained kidney beans and black beans. Boil, then simmer until slightly thickened. Add salt and pepper. Top with avocado, chili peppers and sour cream.
  • The beans are rated U.S. Grade A because they have good flavor, color and texture, as well as consistent size.
  • There are six, 108-ounce #10 cans per case, with 26, 1/2-cup servings per can. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 730 days.
