Product Description

  • This classic, colorful vegetable blend is a well-balanced combination of 60% sweet, green peas and 40% 3/8-inch diced carrots. Easy to prepare, simply place the poly bag of vegetables into boiling water and cook until tender. There's no need to thaw. You'll save time and labor while providing your customers with a consistently high-quality product any time of year.
  • Use this delicious blend alone as a side dish topped with butter or as an ingredient.
  • For a classic comfort food, this blend makes it easy to prepare peas and carrots in cream sauce. For the sauce, add flour, salt and pepper to melted butter to make a roux. Cook for about one minute. Gradually whisk in milk and heat to a boil, then add dill and cook until thickened. Pour the cream sauce over the heated vegetables and combine.
  • The peas and carrots are both rated U.S. Grade A because they offer good flavor, color and character, and they are practically defect free.
  • There are 12, 40-ounce poly-bag packages per case. The vegetables are individually quick-frozen to ensure freshness and enable easy separation.
  • Store frozen for up to 730 days.
