- Only the highest quality chicken is used for these well-trimmed chicken legs and thighs. They are provided skinless and boneless to save you time and labor in the kitchen. Tender and juicy, the chicken is fresh, never frozen, to provide easy protein for any application. The leg meat tendons are closely trimmed for better eating. Many consider thigh meat the most flavorful part of the chicken.
- You can serve the legs and thighs as a lunch or dinner entree, or use in stir fries, fajitas and sandwiches. They can be breaded, charbroiled, grilled, roasted or fried. The legs and thighs are also good on a buffet.
- For oven baking, cook uncovered for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. On the grill, cook on medium heat 6-8 minutes per side. To microwave, set on medium high (70 per cent power) for 6-8 minutes per pound.
- Leg and thigh meat is an economical alternative to breast meat. The flavor is more intense, and the meat is typically juicier due to the higher fat content.
- There are four, 160-ounce packages per case. The legs and thighs are controlled vacuum-packed for freshness.
- Store in the cooler section for up to 14 days. Fresh chicken offers lighter, easier to handle boxes than ice-glazed.
