Product Description

  • The Brussels sprout is a member of the Gemmifera group of cabbages and is known for its edible buds. They have long been popular in Brussels, Belgium, and may have gained the name there. Imported from Belgium, these quality Brussels sprouts resemble miniature cabbage heads.
  • Brussels sprouts are nutty and savory, crunchy and soft. Saute them quickly in butter and lemon and serve. Or add crunchy bacon and sauteed onions to them. Serve as a side dish.
  • Slice raw Brussels sprouts very thinly and make a delicious salad or slaw with them.
  • They are ideal to use in buffets as they hold up well to heat exposure.
  • These are Grade A Brussels sprouts. Each two pound package yields approximately 11 servings of six Brussels sprouts each.
  • Keep the product refrigerated.
