Product Description
- Wild-caught in the North Atlantic, cod loins are hand cut from fillets and are boneless and skinless. They have a mild, clean flavor that is slightly sweeter than Pacific cod. Twice-frozen, each loin weighs approximately four ounces.
- Hand trimmed portions provide uniform sizing, portion control and reduced waste. Being boneless and skinless, they are ideal for deep frying, broiling or baking applications
- The loins can be battered or breaded for deep frying. Fry and serve in a basket with fries and tartar and cocktail dipping sauces.
- Whisk butter, lemon, garlic, salt and pepper and drizzle over the cod loins. Bake or pan fry them until they are done. Serve with fresh lemon slices and desired side dishes.
- The cod pieces are individually quick frozen to ensure freshness and allow for easy product separation while frozen.
